Most people who start thinking about “getting organised” imagine a vault: folders of scanned documents, passwords, keys, everything locked away “just in case.”
That picture is exhausting. And for Caminario, it is the wrong picture.
What a guidepost is
A guidepost does not hold your secrets. It points.
It says: here is what matters. Here is where the important things live. Here is what I want the people I love to understand.
You still keep wills, bank access, and passwords where they belong — with lawyers, banks, password managers, people you trust. Caminario is not that layer. It is the calm map beside it.
Why we refuse secrets
We never ask you to store:
- passwords
- seed phrases
- PINs
- private keys
- recovery codes
Not because security is unimportant — because dumping secrets into a life-path app creates the wrong kind of risk, and the wrong kind of product. Orientation is enough. Clarity is enough.
If someone you love opens what you shared, they should find warmth and direction — not a treasure chest of credentials.
What does belong
Useful things look quieter:
- “The will is with …”
- “The photo albums live …”
- “If I’m not available, start with …”
- A short note about how you want to be remembered
- Preferences for care and farewell — as orientation, not as a substitute for legal documents
Little by little, that becomes a path others can walk when the hard days come — without turning your last chapter into admin.
A softer promise
Caminario is a Life & Death path companion: how you want to live, what you want remembered, and what others need to know. Guidepost, not vault. Presence over paperwork.
